About School

The Regular English High School is an English Medium, located at Kwakeithel Heinoukhongnembi, Imphal West, which can be approached easily from Tiddim Road. It is a co-educational institution having classes from Pre-Nursery to Class X managed by the elected members of a registered body, Regular Tutorial Home (Regd. No. 1360 of 1974). It is affiliated to the Board of Secondary Education Manipur (BOSEM) under Recog. No. 11073 dt. 01-02-81. The primary aim and object of the school is to impart not only Practical Education but Moral Training also to the children to shape and mould them into good, able and productive citizens of tomorrow.
As a part of motivating the young learners to have a sense of healthy competition amongst them, the 1st, 2nd and 3rd rank holders of each class as per the overall result of the Test/Examination conducted in an academic year, are exempted from full course fee, half course fee and quarter course fee respectively for one academic session, and moreover, cash prizes are also awarded. The rank holders, the letter mark holders and the first divisioners of this school who are in the merit list of Board Examination are also awarded cash prizes and special gifts.
In addition to all these, there is also a cash award namely '' LATE TH. KUMAR MEMORIAL MERITORIOUS AWARD '' which is given to the best student amongst the first divisioners based on the result of the HSLC Examination. The Award is donated by Smt. Thounaojam Ongbi Ibechaobi Devi, wife of (L) Th. Kumar Singh, former Headmaster of this school. Cash awards are conferred to the best student of Class-IX Examination passed and the highest mark scorer in Mathematics in the HSLC Examination every year in the name of Late L. Budhichandra Singh. The awards are donated by Smt. Laishram Ongbi Nalini Devi, GB Member, wife of Late L. Budhichandra Singh, former GB. member of the school.
To encourage the extracurricular activities of the students, the school organises Annual Sports Meet, Cultural and Literary Meets every year.
As a mark of encouragement among the students, the first three position holders in every event are awarded prizes with citations. There is also a running trophy for the house champion. In short, the school encourages all round development of the students who are the future citizens of the country.
